About

Meet diana

At some point, I stopped asking “Why me?” and started asking, “Okay God… what do you still want to heal?”

A Foundation in Both Science + Faith

I am a clinically trained mental health coach with over 5,000 hours of supervised clinical experience and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Franciscan University. My work is grounded in evidence-based care, trauma-informed practice, and a deep respect for the mind–body–spirit connection. But my understanding of healing did not come from clinical training alone.

Life made sure of that.

Lived Experience

I have walked through divorce and have carried the emotional weight of custody issues. My son and I lost our home and all possessions in a 2024 house fire. Three months later, I faced a stage 3 colon cancer diagnosis that shattered any illusion of control and forced me to confront fear, grief, mortality, and surrender at the deepest level—all while being a single mother; learning how to stay present for my child while my own world felt anything but stable.

I’ve been angry. For a long time, life was more about surviving than thriving.

And over time, something unexpected happened.

The power of Healing

With the help of Jesus—who met me not only in surrender, but also in resistance—I experienced healing that was real, imperfect, and profoundly human. I came to understand that none of the suffering was wasted. God uses even the hardest chapters to shape us into who we were created to be—often not in the way we would have chosen, but exactly in the way we needed.

Today, through Expecting Miracles, I walk alongside clients in their own “Why me?” moments—bringing together clinical skill, compassion, and faith. I don’t believe in toxic positivity or in spiritualizing away strong emotions. Being angry does not mean you need to forgive “better”, or that you are a bad Christian. I believe our symptoms—whether emotional, physical, or relational—carry information. They invite us to listen, to become curious, and to ask deeper questions about what still needs care and healing.

I believe in looking honestly at your story, confronting the narratives that have kept you stuck, and gently helping you unclench what you’ve been holding onto for perceived safety—so you can finally open your hands and receive what God has for you.

My mission is to help you heal—mind, body, and spirit, and to remind you that Jesus is still performing miracles.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
